Well, Since November 30, 2006 almost everyone has been using Microsoft office 2007. Well guys now it’s time to get ready for Microsoft Office 2010 (codenamed Office 14) since it’s coming out in the first quarter of 2010. Well, since I have been a beta tester for Microsoft I have got the privilege of testing it out. I have checked and given my feedback and now I would just like to give out a review about it.
Microsoft Office 2010 is going to be the next version of the Microsoft office series. It will be available for systems running Microsoft Windows XP with SP3 (32-bit) and above (note: it won’t be supported on Microsoft Windows XP with SP3 (64-bit)). With this awesome version of Microsoft Office 2010 Microsoft have decided to launch their Mobile version of Microsoft Office 2010 for windows phone running windows mobile 6.5 and above and a web based version where users can work their way in companies.

Microsoft Office 2010 Starter edition is a chipped-down edition of Microsoft Office 2010. The main differences between this version and other versions are:
- Only contains Microsoft Word Starter 2010 and Microsoft Excel Starter 2010
- Limited file types can be opened. Can’t open .xla, .xlam, .dsn, .mde, .accde, .odc, and .udl files
- Can’t install add-ons
- Only runs in Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows 7
- Available only to OEM’s
- Can be loaded and run on a using USB stick.
- Ads included on sidebar on right of the screen
Microsoft Office 2010 Student Edition
Office 2010 Student Edition is also known as the basic edition since this contains Excel 2010, Word 2010, OneNote 2010 and PowerPoint 2010 with the most basic functions which is needed generally by the users. The functions are very limited in this version.
This edition is specialized for the people who are running small (home based) businesses. The programs available under this edition are Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010, OneNote 2010 and Outlook 2010.
Microsoft Office 2010 Standard Edition
This edition is specialized for everyone. The programs available under this edition are Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010, OneNote 2010, Outlook 2010 and Publisher 2010.
This edition is for the professional people like the IT people. The programs available under this edition are Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010, OneNote 2010, Outlook 2010 and Publisher 2010, Access 2010.
Office 2010 Professional plus Edition is for the professional people who like to take their profession to the next level. All of the applications except Visio 2010 and Project 2010 are available in this package. This package is also known as office 14 ultimate.
Microsoft Office 2010 Web Version will be working with all the most popular web browsers (Windows Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari) but not in the Opera browser or Netscape Navigator. These Documents are virtually visible to anywhere. And most of all collaboration is enabled so that mean we can edit the documents along with friends and co workers.
The Microsoft Office 2010 web version comes in two versions. That is

This version is for home users, students, and small businesses. Office Web Apps allow you to work from virtually anywhere with the familiar Office functionality you use every day. Even when working away from the office, you’ll still have online access to your work and a core set of Microsoft Office functionality. Post your work on Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and edit, save, and share your work with others from across town or around the world. It’s convenient and easy.
The Microsoft Office 2010 mobile version is for the users who have to work even when they move from one place to another. For example: If you have to send a mail to some client while you were on your way to office. This feature is available to all mobile phones running windows Mobile 6.5 and later.

The posts could use parts, and this doesnt make much of a review actually.
Reviews talk about the pros and cons of each software/package seperately while elaborating on performance, ease of use, etc.
